ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The main objective of this international conference is to bring together researchers and industrial practitioners to explore challenges, issues and opportunities in software engineering, including mobile application development and systems that use modern software engineering principles and practices. The emergence of advanced mobile devices and their sophisticated operating systems pose new challenges to software engineering.
Rapid developments in cloud computing and telecom infrastructure present new challenges to the development of new applications. Parallel conference tracks cover both theory and practice. The main themes will be complemented by workshops which focus on agile software development practices for mobile application development. Pre-conference tutorials which cover some topics relating to the focal theme of the conference will also be arranged. A post-conference report will present further research in the development of mobile applications, platforms, languages and storage areas.
- All accepted papers will be included in IET Digital Library, IEEE/IET Electronic Library (IEL)* searchable through IEEE Xplore, Inspec and will be submitted for EI Compendex and ISI indexing.
- Selected Papers will be published as a special issue in the Journal of Parallel and Distributed Computing and Networks.
The event will have technical sponsorship from IEEE Chennai Chapter and ACM. (Approval awaited) ICSEMA is sponsored by Defence Research Development Organization (DRDO) Government of India. Funding from many other agencies is awaited.

Papers must be written in English, not exceeding 6 pages and must confirm to IEEE format. For instructions kindly see the guidelines available on the conference website.
Authors who are interested in conducting special workshops and tutorials relating to the main theme of the conference are requested to submit their proposals (two column format, 6 pages).
All submitted papers will be subject to a double-blind review process.
PROCEEDINGS
All accepted full papers will be published in the conference proceedings under ISBN reference. Registration for the conference is mandatory to include accepted papers in the proceedings.
STUDENTS PROJECT PRESENTATIONS/ Ph.D FORUM
This conference provides ample opportunities for undergraduate and Post graduate students to showcase their innovative design projects in software engineering and mobile applications covering both Hardware and Software implementations.
Students are requested to submit such proposals (two column format, 6 pages) as per the guidelines.
The proposals will be shortlisted by a peer review committee and best three project proposals will be presented during the conference.
Research scholars can submit the synopsis of their Ph.D work completed or in progress in about 600 words. These synopses will be scrutinized by the expert panel and best three Ph.D projects will be selected for presentation. Through this Ph.D forum, the conference will be able to prepare state- of- art research directions in the focal theme of the conference.
